David Bushman
David Bushman is the author of four traditionally published books, including, most recently, Murder at Teal’s Pond: Hazel Drew and the Mystery That Inspired Twin Peaks (January 2022, Thomas + Mercer). He is also cofounder and copublisher at Fayetteville Mafia Press, an indie publisher that launched in 2018. He spent over two decades as a television curator at The Paley Center for Media (formerly The Museum of Television + Radio), organizing screening series, panel discussions, and exhibitions and writing about media and its impact on every aspect of society, including politics, fashion, music, literature, and the criminal justice system He has over a decade of experience as a writer and editor for Gannett Newspapers, Variety, and Billboard, and his freelance articles have appeared in such publications as the Washington Post and Emmy magazine. He is an adjunct professor of communications and writing and a former program director at the cable channel TV Land.
