James Ellis

James Ellis is an MFA Candidate at the School of Letters low-residency program in Sewanee, TN. He is focusing on hybrid forms, blending poetry and creative nonfiction. He is working on his first book, a memoir in poems. When not in residency, he is a reserve teacher for the Minneapolis Public Schools. In addition to literature in creative writing, he loves playing guitar, running, and volunteering.
