Author of "Mohamed's Dream" to Sign Books at Minneapolis Barnes and Noble Sat., Oct. 5

   Jon Kerr, author of Mohamed's Dream, will sign copies of his new book at the Barnes and Noble at Calhoun Village in Minneapolis on Sat., Oct. 5 between 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

   Mohamed's Dream shares the story of one of the young boys killed in landslide at St. Paul’s Lilydale Park on May 22, 2012. Mohamed Fofana of St. Louis Park, Minn., was on a school field trip hunting for fossils when the accident happened. Author Jon Kerr is a longtime journalist and writer who also happened to be a neighborhood and environmental advocate for Lilydale Park when the landslide occurred. The book not only sheds new light on what went wrong, it shares how Mohamed’s family is working to keep their son’s memory alive.

   Profits from book sales will be donated to Mohamed’s dream of building a school/medical clinic in Africa.
