Doug Mayfield publishes second novel

Doug Mayfield’s recently released novel, The Saint Patrick’s Day Hero (Grendel’s Fen Press), is the story of a group of people, one in particular, who struggle to find meaning in the aftermath of a campus shooting. Pacific Review calls the novel “powerfully relevant,” and Midwest Book Review describes it as a story having “genuine intellectual heft.” The Saint Patrick’s Day Hero is Mayfield’s second novel. His award-winning first novel, Angle of Declination, was published in 2012. The Saint Patrick’s Day Hero is available wherever books are sold.
