Launch event for Sit Stay Pray by Lina and Robin Kelleher - Nov. 9

What would your dog say about you if she could talk?  Apparently Robin Kelleher of Burnsville, Minn., has found out.  Her Toy Australian Shepherd, Lina, has plenty of hilarious “tails” to tell in two recent books about her life with a difficult momma.   In Sit Stay Pray, to be released on October 1, the topsy-turvy life Lina wrote about in the award-winning Lina Unleashed, has only gotten crazier.  For example, there was the time Lina almost got arrested during a photo shoot, and the time Momma set their house on fire - possibly even by accident.  At one point, Lina decides she’s had enough and puts herself up for sale.  Now Lina invites readers to "Sit for my story. Stay and enjoy. And pray for the little Australian Shepherd.”

Proceeds from this laugh-out-loud funny book will be donated to the Animal Human Society which cares for over 23,000 animals per year, and Helping Paws of Minnesota which breeds, trains and places assistance dogs to help the disabled, and veterans and first responders with PTSD.  

The authors will hold a launch pawrty(!) at Barnes and Noble Galleria in Edina on Saturday, November 9, beginning at 2 p.m.
