Write Like a Mother!

Spend an entire day with other moms who write. We will spend some time connecting as we introduce ourselves, and then we will spend the day writing. This is an entire day where you don't have to think about where your food or coffee is coming from or what's on your to-do list. You can just sit and write. 

If you aren't at a place where you're working on a project and might need some inspiration, we can place you in a small group with others in the same position and provide prompts and ideas to get the flow of ideas going.

We will write and retreat at Open Book, a center for reading, writing, and book arts. Open Book is a community gathering place, dedicated to diverse and dynamic creativity, conversation, and collaboration, all rooted in the literary and book arts.

Itinerary

• 9:00-9:30am: Welcome and introductions, intention setting
• 9:30am-12:00pm: Write, write, write
• 12:00-1:00pm: Lunch
• 1:00-4:00pm: Write, write, write
• 3:30-4:00pm: Closing
• 4:30pm: Optional happy hour at Milly's Bistro & Wine Bar down the street

What's Included?

• Time and space to write
• Continental breakfast, coffee and lunch. Additional coffees available for purchase from FRGMNT Coffee on-site.
• Bonus: we'll gather for a happy hour at Milly's Wine Bar, just down the street, where attendees will have their own tabs.
